"Pretty friendly neighborhood, people know each other by name, as well as your dog's name. Probably a community that would at least keep an eye out if your pup went missing."

"Friendly and safe neighborhood, but lock your doors, cars, and don’t leave bikes out front. Stuff gets stolen around here regularly. "

"The one neighborhood event someone tried to organize didn't come to fruition; having said that, everyone is friendly, and it seems that everyone is there for their neighbors when they're needed. It's an established neighborhood and a lot of the neighbors have known each other for years, if not decades."

"The rent that keeps going up due to people from other states, I enjoy the area but the rent around here isn’t going to stay the same, it goes up and especially in this king of market "

"Lots of speeding cars zip though our section, but other than that, it’s a really comfortable place to raise a family. We’ve raised 3 of our own in Broomfield Heights since 2008 :)"

"I walk and bike to The City & County of Broomfield and all over town for my work. If my car breaks down, I can still do everything I need to do by foot or bike. It’s great!"

"It's a great neighborhood of older homes. A lot of the homes are owned by older people but lately A lot of young families have been moving in. It stays quiet while still providing a safe environment for young kids to play."

"We are about a 10 minute drive from the nearest dog park, but this is definitely a dog friendly neighborhood."

"The commute is great. Emerald Elementary is literally at the end of my street, bhms is a 5 minute drive, and it's a minute or two less to bhs. If you work outside of town, Denver is about 30 minutes away, Boulder is 20."

"My commute is only 11 minutes. Traffic is usually pretty bad on I-25 during rush hour, obviously."

"Just because this is a nice area doesn't mean there aren't bad people out there. If a parent's child were to play in their backyard or front lawn then they would most likely be safe though."

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school gives a false impression of diversity and has poor and under qualified leadership. I have reported the principal Ms. Williams to Boulder Valley School District about her lack of safety concerns during dismissal and pick up times which included harassing neighbors getting violent towards parents feeling they are too close and or may be blocking their driveway, traffic jams, ample no parking zones nearby school and pick up protocols that exclude certain grades that the principal refuses to fix making taking your child to school unsafe. School playground is in front of school and not fully gated anyone including “stranger danger” could walk up to the school while children are playing at recess. There was a clear distinction in certain ethnic groups not celebrated in the school despite the misleading decoration of flags from other countries when you walk in the lobby. This school will hold your child back based on age and grade not their true education performance levels. Curriculum is not challenging, no homework and does not embrace diversity and inclusion amongst peers. However, plenty of dress up like the principal days and wear certain outfits to school. Although this is a new school building and may appeal to parents it needs new leadership. As an actual licensed educator myself I am giving an honest review that Emerald Elementary School is not academically competitive nor the principals leadership comparable to high performing schools. Hopefully the district starts to hold this school accountable.Parent Review1mo ago9 Reviews - Kohl Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKohl is absolutely wonderful! We feel so fortunate that our daughter gets to attend. She is absolutely thriving. The teachers and staff are so kind, dedicated and energized. To have a child excited about going to school everyday is a huge win as a parent. Even the SAC program run by Ms. Karson is full of fun, creative activities!Parent Review3mo ago17 Reviews - Nativity: Faith and Reason

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAfter 9 years at Nativity Faith and Reason, with our youngest now entering 4th grade, I can confidently say this school has been an incredible foundation for our family. Our older children have gone on to Holy Family High School and even college, and Nativity prepared them exceptionally well. Holy Family is known for its academic rigor, and each of our kids stepped in ready to meet that challenge with confidence. But what truly sets Nativity apart is the community. Our children formed some of their closest, lasting friendships here—and so did we as parents. From welcome back ice cream socials to parent parties, volunteering, field trips, and the annual gala, there are so many opportunities to connect and be involved. It’s a faith-filled, supportive environment that has shaped our family in meaningful ways. We are incredibly grateful to be part of the Nativity community.Parent Review1mo ago26 Reviews
