"Lots of dog friendly parks and beaches. Can be off leash dogs in any of these spaces though, so it’s not a good neighborhood for reactive dogs."

"I lived in this neighbourhood for over 42 years . We moved 3 times but stayed always in the same neighbourhood. We are close to the beach and downtown and the freeway . People are friendly . We feel safe ."

"It's an awesome area to live despite age. It's close to everything and yet fairly quiet and has an amazing green area (park) right out the door with views of the ocean and nature. Great place! "

"Several great parks you can easily walk to. I love this neighborhood, but live on the top of a hill which can be a challenge with a stroller. "

"My family has lived in this neighborhood since the late 1950s. We all know everyone and everyone knows us. It's a true neighborhood and community, where everyone takes care of one another, yet respects each others' personal space and business. It has amazing views. Its location is ideal: quick and central to every corner of Santa Barbara. Walkable to grocery, restaurants, church, bank, fast food, pharmacy, and even inside a 2-minute response area from paramedics (without hearing the sirens). This is an oasis worth every penny of investment."

"I lived on the neighborhood for almos 2 years, the views and green areas made the place unique, people are so quite and respectful. Laundrey facilities are so close to the units very convenient. So closed to State Street and I could see the ocean going up to lazy Acres to do my grocery shopping. "

"It’s safe and fairly quiet. Very dog friendly, I’d say ever other house has a dog. Not too many kids but it’s still a nice place for a family"
