I’m beyond disappointed in this school and administration. You would think that being in the neighborhood it’s in, it’d be one of the better ones. The teachers don’t communicate with parents. Teachers feel they can sign up and force students to do tasks that have nothing to do with learning. I’d love for the board members to investigate deeper into what’s going on with this school. The principal seems too busy or distracted to reach parents back. And when an issue is brought up, she would rather back up the teacher that’s causing the issue instead of addressing it and reporting it. So disappointed. Do not recommend this school.

Great school! My kids have had really good teachers.

Such a great school. With great resources for students. I think it comes down to also have great principles. They are just so wonderful Mrs Conner and Ms Hofmann just really seem to care. They have great after school programs and I feel like the teachers really care. They also listen when parents have concerns. The only thing I wish they had was more guidance on drop offs and picks ups. When a staff member is out there making sure parents aren't parking in the pick up and drop off area and getting out when they aren't supposed to. It goes so smoothly. But when no one is there it becomes quite frustrating when parents decide to just not care and hold up the line so that can get a little hectic. Besides that best school in Westside school district. I know some will argue it's Gregg Anderson but I think Esperanza takes the cake.

Excellent school! The principals are amazing and do their absolute best to know each and every child individually. The teachers care about their students and make themselves easily available to contact them if ever I had a comment, question or concern. The school promotes school spirit and unity and is extremely clean and well kept. I feel safe sending my student there and feel that she is receiving a great education.
