i hated it there. i got bullied by everyone so much. the teacher was so mean to me too. i was so sad going there, i graduated with all f's. i would try so hard in class, and the teacher would just say "you dont even pay attention." i was bullied so bad, and the teacher didnt even care. they also gave us so much homework, it was overwhelming and i was so stressed. it was so mentally draining. the teacher didnt respect my personal boundries either. she kept taking photos of me when i told her and begged her not to. one day i didnt stand up durring the flag salute because i had to finish some words on a paper, and she yelled at me and shamed me in front of the entire class. that led to students bullying me even more, and she just stood there and did nothing about it. she FORCED me to stand up (WHICH IS ILLEAGLE.) and none of the teachers there are passionate about teaching. i learned NOTHING while i was there. the teachers dont care about the students. i found chewing gum helped me focus durring math class, and the teacher yelled at me after i explained to her. the class was literally only around 15 students and she was worried about a peice of gum that helps a student do well. they are so self centered on what is easier for them, instead of what is easier for the students. and you are not alowed to use your phone to contact ANYONE durring school. they do not alow you to even message your mom if it is an emergency. why are they so worried about keeping students from contacting their parents durring school? oh and the people at the desks in the office are rude. 80% of the time, they arnt even there. i was having really bad period cramps once, and the girl at the desk just told me to sit down in the office or continue class. (like SITTING DOWN was gonna help.) and they always make us sit on the concrete and caffeterria floor for hours at a time for some events. but of course only the teachers got chairs. one time someone lied to get me in trouble, and so the principal told me i wasnt alowed to do yada yada anymore. i kept asking her what i did, and she wouldnt even tell me. she wouldnt even let me explain how i didnt do anything wrong. like thanks again for telling me im not alowed to do something because i apparently hit some kindergartener on the head with a math book even tho i didnt!!! (which the bus driver eventually told me why i was in trouble.) this school stripped me of my final middle school years. the years ill never get back. thanks.

This school is great! It’s a homeschool charter so parents can really take the lead on what the students are learning. If you are a proactive parent who’s interested in actively teaching your own kids. The school is absolutely the best. They provide excelente support. Education budget, wonderful Educational specialist, learning center library, and tutoring classes. The budget can be used for not only curriculum but tutoring, special interest classes, some field trips. My kids have really thrived. My daughter’s reading level has gone up an entire grade since beginning at South Sutter. And we’re only halfway through the year. My son really enjoys the fact that he can go at his own pace and study things he is interested in. He’s taken an interest in learning coding and chess this year. We love South Sutter!
