6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWow!!! 5/10? That is ridiculous. Flory is a well maintained school, that provides excellent education, top tier teachers and the most professional administrative staff, that serves all the children that go there equally and with love. Don’t even think twice about sending your kids to Flory.Flory academy is the greatest school ever. Just ask the parents on the waiting list, who wait for months before their kids finally secure a spot. Besides the fact that flory provide precious science and technology education, Which is only offered in a handful of school in 3 counties, Flory has a great team of educators and administrators that absolutely love what they do, and the kids love being there.Let me clarify even further, with COVID vaccination finally out there, our kids were thrilled to be back in class, happy to learn and play with their friends. Our little boy is in Flory this year and it was a great experience, even with online learning half the year. Our daughter went to FLORY two years ago, and we wouldn’t even think twice to get our son on the list and into flory, which should be 10/10 rated school,As far as greatschools.org, shame on you! Diversity is definitely a negative factor on this website because other schools, that provides the exact same curriculum in neighboring cities, are rated 9/10, but provide very little diversity in the student population. Basically most of the kids are rich and white. The diversity factor is reflected as a negative on each school’s page (like it should impact patent’s decision. The greater the diversity the lower the grade). As a parent and a Moorparkian, I feel that this website is directly contributing to lowering the value of diversity rich schools, and it is shocking that this website would not take the melting pot experience value into account. It’s a disservice to schools like Flory, who truly make a difference in the community and provide remarkable education experience to all their students and their families.Thank you Flory teachers and administrators for all your hard work. We appreciate you!Parent Review5y ago6 Reviews - Peach Hill Academy

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere is constant bullying and physical fighting. The teachers are great and their lesson plans are mostly organized, I can’t say the same about the yard duty’s. They say things like spreading kindness is good even when they don’t spread kindness at all. When things like bullying happen they do nothing and always get you somehow in trouble. All the girls get daily dress coded and they always say that they do it in private but they truly don’t. When girls get dress coded the yard duty’s literally say quote on quote “ the boys are looking at you”. Also when you get hurt know one care like I broke my foot because the PE teacher didn’t see my note saying I couldn’t do PE, also girls came up to me and hit my arm which caused my to sprain it, then some guy also broke 4 of my fingers. All in all I would not recommend Peach Hill Academy because of the harsh environment and treatment by others.Student Review2y ago6 Reviews - Walnut Canyon Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWalnut Canyon is an amazing school with a wonderful staff. Students develop a love of learning as well as a sense of community. WC has a super PTA too so school is engaging and exciting all year long. Academically, standards are high but teachers at this school really care and you can see that in test scores!Parent Review3y ago7 Reviews - Campus Canyon College Preparatory Academy

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience at Mountain Meadows was very negative and left a lasting impact on me. Many of the teachers treated me unfairly and harshly, often embarrassing me in front of classmates instead of helping me. When I was bullied, I never felt protected or supported. Teachers sometimes went out of their way to punish me or give me detentions rather than guide me with kindness. As a child, this was extremely difficult and it made school feel unsafe instead of being a place to learn and grow. Even now as an adult, I still remember how traumatizing that environment was.I would not recommend this school to parents who want their children to feel safe, respected, and cared for.Other Review8mo ago7 Reviews
