"It’s a wonderful community filled with multiple generations of residents who have grown up here, raised families here, retired here and now watch their children’s families here all call this place home. "

"Easy access to freeway, few signals but other than those not much traffic. Some times the lights take too long to change even with no cars. "

"I’ve lived here for a year. My lease is up next month and I’m leaving the area. Conveniently located, but close to a noisy street, Bouchard. Coyotes on the street at night and early mornings."

"Dos Vientos is as close to perfection as one can come. Beach is 10 minutes down the road, colleges/universities are minutes away, our mall is nearby and stocked. We have it all here including The largest park in Ventura county. If you want to breath easy, relax, and just enjoy watching your family grow up then Dos Vientos is your future home."

"Plenty of dog and dog lovers around. Good amount of greenery and walking areas. Also many good hiking areas that allow dogs. Make sure to always have your dog on leash as many children and adults walk as well. Overall, a great place for dogs. "

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe left after the first year, the princi of al left no room for flexibility and was flippant about issue regarding our child. When he was spit on by another student (in the face) the child was not disciplined and my son was not escorted to wash off his face. There seemed to be no consequences for transgressions and the principal seemed oblivious. We were so disappointed because it’s our neighborhood school.Parent Review1y ago18 Reviews - Cypress Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCypress is such a quaint, safe, and lovely school! I have had kids here at Cypress for over 10 years and they have all thrived. The teachers are truly caring and the administration and staff are amazing too! Cypress is now an Internaional Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme school which means that Cypress offers an inquiry-based, transdisciplinary curriculum framework that builds conceptual understanding. All students learn Spanish too! I cannot recommend this special school enough!Parent Review2y ago13 Reviews - Maple Elementary School
