NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere are quite a few issues with St Ray’s. One- the classrooms are huge and the teachers are really overworked without additional aide support. So tons and tons of turnover. My son’s class had 32 kids with one teacher. I think she did an amazing job considering the lack of support (of course she took a job at another school). Second the environment is very much a ‘bro’ environment. It’s 90% White boys with parents that think they can do no wrong. I’ll say some of the social events were eye opening and leave it there. Knucklehead parents and incessantly gossipy moms is in abundance.Bottom line - It’s a low rent, inexpensive private school with parents that feel like it should be sacred heart. Public school is a MUCH better option.Parent Review1mo ago19 Reviews - Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not recommend sending your student here. They preach sportsmanship then at athletic games acts shamefully as a student population in the stands, the worst we have ever seen on a scale of low-income public to private preparatory.Other Review5mo ago12 Reviews - Peninsula School, Ltd

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI agree with the previous review. Prospective families have the right to know.Pros: Lush campus; amiable marketing staff.Cons: Lack of Core Infrastructure: The school operates without a visible strategic plan, a structured curriculum, or clear behavioral guidelines. Leadership Disconnect: Administrative leadership was unable to clearly define or explain "progressive learning"—ironically, only the marketing staff could articulate the school's educational philosophy. Mismanaged Discipline: The school's interpretation of a "restorative approach" has unfortunately manifested as a permissive environment with a near-total tolerance for bullying behavior. High Turnover: There is a remarkably low staff and teacher retention rate.Because of these systemic issues, a student's experience relies entirely on the luck of drawing a good teacher. The lack of stability is evident in student retention as well. I have personally witnessed multiple families pull their children out at the beginning and middle of the school year, willingly forfeiting their tuition just to leave. Many current families are actively seeking other options.I am genuinely glad for the families who have had a positive experience here, but I urge prospective parents to read all reviews carefully. Do thorough research so this doesn't become a place of heartbreak for your family.Parent Review1mo ago36 Reviews
