  • Tokate
"We have a wonderful neighborhood association that holds seasonal events. It is quiet and rural and yet conveniently located to shopping and schools, with a school bus that provides transportation to all the neighborhood children through middle school."
  • Ingrid H.
"We live only 26 miles from San Fransisco along the Mountian range between SF and Santa Cruz. We can see the ocean on one side and the bay on the other side. We call our Mountian community “Kings Mountian”. The community is surrounded by open space so basically it’s a paradise. The community offers dinners, art, movies, and community information."
  • Jessicaehope
"Trees everywhere; unique culture which is a mix of long time residents and internet multi-millionaires; great school which is a hub of the community."
  • Jessicaehope
"There are lots of other dog owners, so they would meet people right away. The dogs would be very happy because there is lots of interesting wildlife to smell and watch. However we have a family of coyotes in Woodside Hills who are quite brazen, and some dog owners worry about their dogs’ safety. Also in the rest of Woodside there is always the threat of mountain lions and/or rattlesnakes."
  • Tibe.santo
"Lots of nice walks for your dog, in the woods, in open spaces or near roads. Also, lots of people have dogs here and they support and help each other "
  • Scott S.
"this is a safe family neighborhood. The elementary school is excellent, but the high school is not as good. There is very good proximity to Silicon Valley and Stanford. "
  • Scott
"Woodside is a rural upscale community adjacent to Silicon Valley, Stanford, and close to San Francisco. There might be as many horses as people, and lots of open space. It is a beautiful place."
  • Scott S.
"Small town rural feel right next to Silicon Valley and Stanford, with the beauty of the Santa Cruz Mountains minutes away. And while there are plenty of rich and famous people here, its not a place where people are trying to show off"
  • Jessicaehope
"It’s a little secret hidden in the hills between Redwood City & Woodside, With Redwood City schools, Woodside oak trees and coyotes, and kindly neighbors."
  • Jessicaehope
"It has amazing views while being very convenient to the freeway and downtown Redwood City. There are lots of trees and the houses feel private and tucked away."
  • nguyenvd
"Surround with thousands of big, huge redwood trees"
  • phworldinc
"Great schools, parks, and local town"
  • Saleme
"Woodside is one the most amazing places to live in the world, and this neighborhood is wonderful. Close to SF, Palo Alto and the rest of the valley, this area has nice places to walk, explore and experience. The schools are superb and as a child I enjoyed the adventures I could have as a kid. While there are many homes in Woodside that are gated, the Glens provides a warm atmosphere where neighbors become friends. "
