Lakewood Village

My child finished Montessori Eureka last year and I was extremely pleased with this school. The director/owner has been teaching children for decades, and is very good at finding new ways of engaging them. They have a great program, including academics as well as music and art. They have before care starting at 6:30am and after care ending at 6:30pm – very convenient for working parents. They have an enriching summer program as well. Students are taught respect for their teachers and each other. It was a wonderful learning environment for my child, who really thrived here.

Both our children enroll to St. Cyprian school. It has been a great experience for them. They love the teachers and their friends. The teachers are hand-on on the child education.

Lakewood Christian Schools has been an incredible experience for my kids so far (prek through grade 3,) and we can’t wait for many years to come at this school! The teachers have been so caring, knowledgeable and effective. My kids are gaining wonderful foundational learning skills. The phonics curriculum in particular is fantastic, it teaches true phonics rules and skills and doesn’t rely heavily on sight words. The community at the school is a truly special and caring place. The school allows children ample time for enjoyment and exercise, they prioritize several recesses each day and PE several times each week. They train children in developing personal character, with a strong emphasis on community service and honoring our elders and service members. They foster healthy relationships among peers and encourage respectful interactions between students. They bring the love of Jesus and the GOOD NEWS of His salvation to the forefront in many aspects of the school. Through an amazing “sing scripture” music program, my kids have memorized some wonderfully encouraging and powerful scripture verses in a fun and easy way! LCS is truly a blessing to our entire family!
