"Pumpkin patches at heritage park as well as christmas events, concerts at this park as well along with mang more events. Trunk or treating at nearby church. GREAT hiking/ biking trails. Pancake saturdays at the fire station next to Marshall Canyon (however I’m not sure if they still do this bc I have not gone in a while). Close to wild life reserve just a couple miles away at hourse thief canyon, along with great dog park and horse trails!"

"Christmas morning potlucks are always special, along with Santa riding through the neighborhood on a La Verne fire truck. A tradition that the city’s been doing for over 50 years! Also, summer movie nights in a neighbor’s front yards are a joy for all the kids. "

"Local traffic isn’t too bad. The 210 fwy can get backed up during rush hour though. Just void going Westbound in the mornings and eastbound in the evenings. "

"My dad grew up here and I enjoyed coming here as a child to visit my grandparents. I now have lived here for almost 5 years and absolutely love it! It is a taste of small town living, in the middle of busy Southern California. "

"Wonderful schools and neighbors. Close to everything in shops. Lots of family things are put together by the city to give you a community feel"

"I am in an apartment going through a divorce and my husband is in our house in San Dimas. So I cannot answer some of these questions as I have a commercial set of buildings all around this complex. Active freight trains on one side, etc. I like La Verne but not where I am located in La Verne at the moment this past year. "

"I am in the only apartment building in an industrial area. I only know things that go on here behind our gates. But the streets are crowded with parked cars, etc. due to all the companies on Palomares. "

"I am close to several freeways and they are easy access. I am originally from and still have my house in San Dimas, CA 91773. I have been in this apartment for one year as a divorce is pending. My husband is in our house. So being only 3 miles from my house, I know both these areas pretty well. I work at my husband’s office. He owns his own company. It is in San Dimas too. No long commutes. I am trying to relocate to a rental home in Arizona or Nevada, because the prices of an apartment here far exceeds a lot of homes in those 2 states. I would still commute here to California for certain things. "
