Whispering Pines

I'm a former student of Julian Elementary School, and my educational experience at Julian Elementary couldn't have been better. Currently, I am about to graduate Julian Union High School, and my future looks incredible bright. I plan to attend my dream school in the upcoming fall semester. It was Julian Elementary that set a strong foundation I was able to build my education upon, enabling me to achieve my present goals. I never had a teacher that held me back. In fact, each teacher I had pushed me farther and farther. They taught me math that was a grade level ahead, gave me extra reading assignments to complete, and never hesitated to expand my knowledge. Most importantly, my teachers from Julian Elementary taught me the importance of personal communication. I felt connected to each of my teachers. This opened the door for communication. I was always welcome to ask questions and share experiences with my teachers, respectfully. When reflecting on my time at Julian Elementary, I only have good thoughts. It's a place of cultivation and character. Any child who attends there will be given a plethora of opportunity.

This school is not a safe environment for children. They will consistently put the reputation of the school above the safety of children. My child was abused on site, we were pressured not to take things further, they ignored safety protocols put in place, and shifted blame nonstop. They would say one thing to our faces in meetings, but do something else. When asked for meeting minutes we were denied. The school administration lacks the integrity to put children’s needs first. Also, they say they facilitate special needs but have one teacher for the whole campus who floats room to room. Any abuse my child suffered, down to a retaliatory punch to the face, was blamed on special needs with no accountability for the students involved. I am beyond disgusted that google inactivated reviews so that the school can continue to operate with no honest accountability. The fact that this had to happen, that enough negative reviews were left, should tell you all you need to know about this awful school.
