Both of my children attended Gomes—my older child is now at Hopkin, and my younger is currently a 5th grader. Gomes has truly been their second home for six years. They know the teachers, staff, and even Mr. Norm, who volunteers at the crosswalk every morning. The strong sense of community, care, and support is unmatched. From academics to games, activities, and an outstanding PTA, Gomes has given our children a joyful childhood filled with great memories, friendships, and a solid foundation. If you are choosing a school, I highly recommend Gomes—where your child’s story begins and prepares them for the next chapter.

The school is trying their best to engage families in the best possible way - new principal is kind, easy to talk to, friendly with kids and encourages to be active, plays sports with kids. School encourages kids in all round developments - garden club, mathematics club, steam club run by the teachers. Amazing makerspace for kids to explore robotics and sort. Hope they incorporate music band, mathematics olympaid in the future.

In sync with the Montessori method of schooling , the class has 1st,2nd and 3rd grade together and the children depending on their interest and growth curve can move up learning to 2nd or 3rd without having to wait . The older kids are taught leadership as they help the younglings.Compared to other schools , there is light to no homework with most things done in class Itself and their afterschool program has classes such as Lego Engineering , Chess , Soccer , Tennis , Olympic Games and Music . They also have events such as campout , market week where students create and sell their stuff within themselves and honor day where they enact great pioneers from years past.On top of that the fees are reasonable and lower than most private schools in the area.I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who wants to break away from convention and truly focus on nurturing their kid in a loving , meaningful way .
