Mission San Jose

My experience at Mission San Jose Elementary (MSJE) was amazing! I had a great overall learning experience and ultimately, had a really fun time there. Most of the teachers are really nice and kind, and they help you whenever you need it. The school counselor also hosts regular activities where students can meet each other and participate in fun and engaging events. In the five years that i've been a student here, I've never had a problem with any person /teacher and everything here is so nice. There are also lots of school activities, such as a Halloween Parade, Science Camp, going to Ohlone College to see a play, and Movie Nights. The field trips are also really fun and exciting, and we always learn a lot from these experiences.

In sync with the Montessori method of schooling , the class has 1st,2nd and 3rd grade together and the children depending on their interest and growth curve can move up learning to 2nd or 3rd without having to wait . The older kids are taught leadership as they help the younglings.Compared to other schools , there is light to no homework with most things done in class Itself and their afterschool program has classes such as Lego Engineering , Chess , Soccer , Tennis , Olympic Games and Music . They also have events such as campout , market week where students create and sell their stuff within themselves and honor day where they enact great pioneers from years past.On top of that the fees are reasonable and lower than most private schools in the area.I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who wants to break away from convention and truly focus on nurturing their kid in a loving , meaningful way .

Our experience at St. Joseph school has been more than excellent.It is not only an excellent school with high academic curriculum.It is a community school where parents meet friends, the students are loved and they create relationships for life.We enjoyed their social emotional aspect and how they form well rounded students.They are very well prepared for HighSchool.The TK and Kinder ar full time so no need to come back twice for pick up!
