Our oldest son "graduated" from Kindergarten at School of Little Scholars. His 1st Grade teacher at the public school kept asking where he went for Kindergarten because he was more than well prepared. He was confident, able to work independently, reading above grade level and had great classroom manners. We thank School of Little Scholars for all that they have done. Our youngest son is currently at the school. Last year, he was tested as a Pre-K student as he exited speech therapy. He tested into the 90th percentile in all areas. The speech therapist was very impressed and wanted the school's information to pass on to other families. Our little guy will finish up Kindergarten here and we are know that he will have the confidence and preparation for 1st Grade that his older brother has had. We love everyone at the school from the person at the front desk to the teachers to the director. Too bad it doesn't go up to 8th Grade!

Our son has been at Foothill Oaks Academy since he was about 2 years old about 5-6 years now. The school were recommended to us by a family friend whose two college aged sons had attended as well. Right from the beginning, his preschool teacher was so kind and loving. This really started his school experience in the best possible way, and we can only hope that as he grows and moves on to higher and higher education, his love for learning that started in preschool will remain. It has always been a smaller school, and we appreciate the very individual attention each student receives in class. All of his classmates are very well-behaved and kind to each other, which is very important to us. Bullying or meanness has never been an issue, and the kids seem to thrive in such a nurturing environment. The teachers really know and love each of their students and support their learning, socially and academically. About the curriculum, we feel the amount of homework and progression of learning is appropriate for his age. More importantly, he LOVES going to school, he loves learning, he loves his classmates and his teachers, and his participation in the annual read-a-thon has turned him into a voracious reader.We would highly recommend Foothill Oaks Academy! Their environment has benefitted our son throughout his years there, and we truly believe he would not be as happy or successful a student at any other school. We thank them for everything they have done for our son and our family. If you are looking for a school that will make you and your children feel welcome and teach them not only ABC’s, but also how to be nice to each other, we hope you consider Foothill Oaks Academy.
