7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageToxic environment led by principal that cares more about her position than the students. The principal gaslit us about federal law and procedures regarding IEP, which was frustrating and we only found out after consulting an advocate and lawyer. The school district will try its best not to provide services and accommodations to special needs kids. Teachers are rude and uncaring, causing trauma to very young children who cannot advocate for themselves. We had to transfer after multiple incidents with the teacher and staff. Until they find new principal and teachers, do not trust this school with your children.Parent Review2y ago6 Reviews - School Of Little Scholars

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur son has been at Foothill Oaks Academy since he was about 2 years old about 5-6 years now. The school were recommended to us by a family friend whose two college aged sons had attended as well. Right from the beginning, his preschool teacher was so kind and loving. This really started his school experience in the best possible way, and we can only hope that as he grows and moves on to higher and higher education, his love for learning that started in preschool will remain. It has always been a smaller school, and we appreciate the very individual attention each student receives in class. All of his classmates are very well-behaved and kind to each other, which is very important to us. Bullying or meanness has never been an issue, and the kids seem to thrive in such a nurturing environment. The teachers really know and love each of their students and support their learning, socially and academically. About the curriculum, we feel the amount of homework and progression of learning is appropriate for his age. More importantly, he LOVES going to school, he loves learning, he loves his classmates and his teachers, and his participation in the annual read-a-thon has turned him into a voracious reader. We would highly recommend Foothill Oaks Academy! Their environment has benefitted our son throughout his years there, and we truly believe he would not be as happy or successful a student at any other school. We thank them for everything they have done for our son and our family. If you are looking for a school that will make you and your children feel welcome and teach them not only ABC’s, but also how to be nice to each other, we hope you consider Foothill Oaks Academy.Parent Review11mo ago28 Reviews - Oasis Trilingual Community School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOasis Trilingual Community School is truly a hidden gem in all of LA. What makes this school so exceptional isn't just the academics, but the deep sense of community amongst all the students and families. The teachers and staff are profoundly dedicated. You can tell they don't just see this as a job; they are deeply invested in the growth and well-being of every single child. They gladly volunteer on Friday nights for student-only events (who does this?), which proves how much they love the kids. This passion is also reflected in their unmatched language immersion program. The way they balance Mandarin, Spanish and English creates such a natural, fluid learning environment that gives the kids a massive head start for global travel, learning and potential work as adults. The most special and rare part of Oasis Trilingual is the community. It’s the kind of place where all the parents actually know each other. There is a tangible sense of "it takes a village" here—everyone is willing to volunteer, dedicate their time, and step up to help the school thrive. Seeing so many parents who are genuinely invested in the success of all the children, not just their own, is what makes this environment so unique. Parents don’t just drop-off and leave; they drop-in and help. If you are looking for a school that offers both high-level bilingual or trilingual education and a warm, supportive community that feels like family, this is it!!! 100/10.Parent Review2mo ago8 Reviews
