"How quiet it is. We love that there isn’t a crazy amount of noise and no nighttime noice like party’s "
  • Amberiherron
"Amazing schools! Very diverse area with young families and working professionals. Shopping nearby, Ralphs, Walmart, Costco, Ross, Home Depot etc all around the corner. "

"People with dogs don’t pick their dogs poop and it’s disgustingly annoying especially at the playground area where kids play!"
  • Alina N.
"a bit far from freeways but streets are pretty quick as the average mph is 50 back roads are fairly empty if your commute is nearby"
  • JemisonanthonyJ
"I am unaware of any community events. There are several parks around and lakes as well. The community is a bit spread out, so perhaps that is why."
  • debra m.
"Rancho Del Rey is a terrific area. We are close to the 805 for easier commuting. Teachers live in our neighborhood and kids can walk to school. We also do not feel the heat like they do in Eastlake area."
  • Alisa G. V.
"People are nice. And they have great restaurants around. I variety of stores. Great schools. Lots of people who are pet friendly and walk their dogs at night. Several people have more than one dog."

"I've lived on Verin for over 12 years. Wonderful quiet neighborhood. The scenery with the mountains, the sunsets, the ocean and downtown skyline are hard to beat. Peaceful community. Great people. So thankful I had this time on Verin! "
