7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis School is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Don't Believe the Negative Reviews!I am THRILLED to share my experience with this incredible school! I have to speak up because some people have written horrible reviews, and I—along with MANY other parents—could not disagree more!I have children at all three schools in the district, and let me tell you: Meadowlark has been the BEST it has EVER been! My oldest son is now in 10th grade, my daughter is in 7th, and my youngest is in 4th, so I've seen this school through many years, and the transformation has been remarkable! Our principal has completely CHANGED THE CULTURE of our school in the most wonderful way possible! She has created an environment that celebrates inclusivity and cultural diversity like never before. She welcomes each and every parent with open arms—her open-door policy is genuine, and she will work with you to solve ANY problem. I cannot emphasize enough how approachable and caring she is!The students are HAPPY and more engaged in learning than my older children ever experienced! The difference is night and day! She communicates exceptionally well and makes sure everyone knows what is expected—there's no confusion, just clear leadership and high standards.I'll be honest: this is a small town, and sometimes that comes with resistance to change and people who aren't ready to accept those who don't look like them. Some parents want to run the school themselves rather than allowing the principal to do her job and ensure our children are actually LEARNING. But this principal stands firm in her commitment to educational excellence! If you're looking for a well-organized school with leadership that holds both teachers AND students accountable, with HIGH EXPECTATIONS for teaching and learning—THIS IS IT! Under her leadership, this school has become a place where children truly thrive!Your child will LOVE this school and have FUN while they're learning! She genuinely loves our kids, and they absolutely LOVE her back! The positive energy is contagious!Don't let a few negative voices discourage you—come see for yourself! This school is something special! Also, a few of the reviews read as if they are from a disgruntled person who is trying to make our school look bad. My family and I, and so many others, love our school and the people there.Parent Review6mo ago20 Reviews - High Desert School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, I have serious concerns about leadership, communication, and overall support at this school. In my experience, it has been very difficult to get timely responses from staff, even when reaching out multiple times regarding important matters. Communication across the school does not appear consistent or reliable. There also appears to be a high level of staff turnover, and families should be aware that some classrooms may be supported by newer or developing teachers or long-term substitutes. Most if not all of the experience teachers left under this current administration. While there are individual teachers who clearly care about students and are doing their best, the overall system does not always provide the level of consistency and support that students need.I have also experienced situations where student discipline and basic needs, such as access to lunch, were not handled in a way that felt appropriate or clearly communicated to parents. Where in fact there is no communication when discipline is delegated to your student.Additionally, I have concerns about how students are spoken to and treated by adults on campus. In particular, the other students mothers who have been hired to walk around campus, but especially the principal herself. Based on my experience, interactions have at times felt overly harsh or inappropriate, which raises concerns about the overall school climate and whether students are consistently treated with respect.I also have concerns about professionalism and discretion within the school environment. School employees should be aware that maintaining privacy and clear boundaries is non-negotiable.For families considering this school…especially those with students who may need additional support or accommodations. good luck. The children with accommodations don’t seem to fit into this principals idea of her boutique type school. And let’s not forget the multiple Williams act violations. To put it simply, and in the words of many other parents, I know the middle school is a mess. The district is a mess with all the charter schools and lawsuits and expelled students from other districts.Parent Review1mo ago16 Reviews - Tree of Life Christian Academy

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageILead is the best school for my family! I'm so glad I enrolled my kids here 3 years ago. We have all the support we need, excellent, kind teachers, fabulous vendors, free access to tons of curriculum and online educational opportunities. The teacher's support each families needs for independent study while upholding rigorous standards. Thanks for being amazing!Other Review2y ago8 Reviews - Ilead Online
