8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEl Mirage is a great school. The teachers are caring, work hard to help all students and it is very welcoming. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure that all students get what they need! They also have a great school culture. Bullying is not tolerated. My children love going and learn so much!Parent Review2y ago4 Reviews - Surprise Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHonestly very disappointed with the assistant principal at this school. Interactions come across as dismissive and unhelpful, and when concerns are brought forward, the response feels more like deflection than support. There doesn’t seem to be much ownership of issues, and instead things get pushed back onto teachers, students, or families. I’ve also witnessed and heard conversations that felt unprofessional for a school setting, especially in areas where families are present. It creates an uncomfortable environment and does not build trust. Overall, it does not feel like leadership that is supportive, solution-oriented, or focused on what’s best for students, which is frustrating to see.Parent Review1mo ago10 Reviews - West Point Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school used to be really nice with scores that topped the charts and had a friendly caring disposition. Now 8 years later it is sad to see the quality of academics and morals has sunk to a new low. My biggest pet peeve with the admin is they do not respect the elderly and handicapped parents, and not surprisingly parents are not implementing this respect in their children. Everytime I drop ny grandson off all the handicapped spots are taken by healthy young people driving Mercedez Benz who just are too lazy to park 100 feet down the lot. I asked the admin if when they call parents for updates if she could please kindly address the issue which she proudly said no, but the next day did remind parents to not park in the bus area that it was a federel offense. I took about 100 photos and videos showing the admin of the problem I just think it is so cold that they laugh it off and downplay the seriousness of the problem. Its no wonder more parents are looking into homeschooling and private institutions.Parent Review3y ago9 Reviews - Thompson Ranch Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son fell during P.E. And fractured his wrist and I was not notified of the incident. He also experienced an accident because he was not allowed to use the restroom in a timely manner, and again, I received no communication. Instead, he was given pants that did not fit him. The nurse informed me that they were not required to call because it was “not an emergency,” but I consider it an urgent matter when the school does not have appropriate clothing available for my child. No resolution was given. Every time I visit the office, I am met with unprofessional behavior. Staff members rarely greet parents and often respond with attitude or dismissive remarks such as, “What do you want?” or “What do you need?” The entire school as a whole LACKS communication and interaction skills.I am the type of parent who is more than willing to volunteer and support teachers and the school to ensure they have the necessary resources for our children. I try to be inclusive and helpful, but it is clear that the school does not prioritize the well-being of its students or maintain respectful communication with parents. It often feels as though the focus is on funding rather than the children themselves. For these reasons, I would not recommend this school to any family.Parent Review5mo ago16 Reviews
