My daughter's teacher called and said I was supposed to tell her their bus transportation started today. The bus picked her up and brought her to school. If I was supposed to tell the teacher then I apologize. It's just backwards to me.Parent Review2y ago8 Reviews - Holdeman Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI do not even know where to begin, but first this is a school where they allow for bullying, turn their head the other way toward the aggressors and your child is the one left suffering. And, when you do address the administration about your child incessantly being bullied, they make you feel wrong for speaking out against your child. This does not include any forms of physical alterations, simply social bullying. When it comes to physical altercations your child is left to fend for your child. My child was physically harmed as a result of a school incident involving him and another child, when I asked to see the video, they refused, saying they are private school and if I want to see the video, I would have to bring on a subpoena. And, the sad part is the administration tries to fabricate its own narrative to where they will not be held accountable. When you ask your child to corroborate the administrations’ narrative, since they’re accusing your child of omitting details, again the stories do not match up. If you’re worried about your child being safe , this school is unable to provide you with that comfort. In fact it is just the opposite, they make such a big deal about violating uniform dress codes, but look the other way to the bigger issues at hand. Another incident, where my child and his friend were inappropriately touched by an upper class man failed to be properly addressed. They reported to the teacher on duty at the time and instead were told to report it later as they were going to be late for salah. When they went to report it later, nothing was done, no action was taken and completely dismissed. The school is willing to keep the bullies inside their school, because that implies they might possibly loose tuition money should they leave. Anything that brings them more money is the motto, they operate on even if your child’s safety is at stake. Let us not begin speaking on the academics, which are at large, pretty terrible! As an educator for the past 14 years, I’ve never seen a school where the high school English teacher lets them get by with just watching movies and YouTube clips in place of reading the a dual novels, because she was overwhelmed with the course load. Or, where a teacher, who only holds a high school degree, but has been a mom for 20 plus years is fit to teach an entire classroom. Save your child, your money, and the headache and go elsewhere!Parent Review2y ago9 Reviews - Awakening Seed School
