8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEl Mirage is a great school. The teachers are caring, work hard to help all students and it is very welcoming. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure that all students get what they need! They also have a great school culture. Bullying is not tolerated. My children love going and learn so much!Parent Review2y ago4 Reviews - Luke Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average1. The learning. Some teachers are great and fun, but others scream at you because you don’t get it or some dont explain well and don’t accept questions. 2. Teaching/teachers. Some are amazing but others like I said explain badly or scream at you the whole time, most teachers just blame you for anything because you did something bad ONCE. 3. Emotional support. The military consoler is the only one that I’ve been pulled for, they are very nice and sweet and helpful. I’ve never seen or experienced others. Though, the teachers aren’t to great but I guess it’s not their job. 4. Special education. I don’t have any disabilities so wouldn’t know what it’s like. though most of my teachers just don’t yell at them and treat them nicely, even though they’re screaming, just so that they stop screaming and interrupting the teaching instead of actually getting them in trouble.5. Safety. The drills are fine I guess. but, there are so many bullies and the lunch food is moldy and unpleasant. 6. Family engagement. I have no family in this school but here is what friend of mine suggests. I disagree because the last time I tried going with my sibling at parent pick up to our car but then a teacher yelled at me and told me to go back.Overall, I don’t like this school, I only go because of my friendsStudent Review3mo ago24 Reviews - Marley Park Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, we are very dissatisfied with the public school system in Arizona. It doesn’t seem to matter which public school you choose; classes are overcrowded, and the system is failing these kids. Instead of actually teaching, many schools lower standards to artificially boost poor student performance, allowing students to advance to the next grade without mastering necessary skills. They appear more focused on maintaining their school ranking for funding purposes than on true educational outcomes.Classes are oversized, and struggling students are often left behind. Boys, in particular, who typically require more attention, are pushed through the system without even achieving basic skills. These children, who endured the disruptive lockdowns and a lost year of remote schooling, have been especially affected and left behind. As a result, we are withdrawing our son from this school and will now take a hands-on approach to teaching him ourselves. His reading, writing, and math skills do not meet even the minimum school standards. The only response from his teachers is that he "does not want to do the work." If he lacks a fundamental understanding of the material, it’s unreasonable to expect him to succeed. The school culture is also troubling. Bullying often goes unpunished, while instances of racism, especially directed toward white students, are overlooked. The system is failing our children. Some educators seem more interested in preserving a "status quo" focused on diversity and political agendas than on true education. It is disheartening to see that, despite having one of the highest-funded education systems, we are achieving some of the lowest test scores globally. It is truly a disgrace!Parent Review1y ago25 Reviews - Rancho Gabriela Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’ve lived in this neighborhood for my whole life and i’ve never experienced a cross walk lady trying to jump infront of my 5,000 car a HOUR after schools out and there’s no school zone signs on the road to tell me it’s a school zone when i’m going under the limit anyways to turn INTO my street. This is the only year where i’ve had trouble a cross walk lady it’s like they choose the people with least common sense to protect our kids from “dangers” and her language was disrespectful to begin with. Choose employees who know the laws and rules of the road instead of risking me my brothers and her life for something that didn’t happen. Horrible decision making by her and the school for choosing her!Other Review1y ago23 Reviews
