Many years ago, on my son's first day of kindergarten, he was riding the school bus home from Marshall Ranch when an older kid beat him up on the bus, and the bus driver just laughed. We went back to the school which told us they would not discipline the driver for not stopping the beatdown, because "bus drivers are hard to find". I will never forget or forgive Marshall Ranch, ever.

2025-2026 Was the 1st and last year for two of my children. The experience from most teachers was horrible, I had to constantly make appointments with not only the teachers but the principal. On top of it not all teachers respond unless I cc the rest. They run classes very strictly, yet the teachers themselves need more training. Kids are there to learn and not feel they are in some type of boot camp and hate going. I have a gifted child that I was told he would continue his gifted classes and they took a while to even put him. After several times of me continuously reaching out, and even then the teacher only would give him a sheet to do. In my opinion they didn’t provide the correct gifted program I was told about. I’m glad I am a parent that is involved with my children education and recommend everyone to do the same.

Desert palms is an horrible school but I will never put my child in this school ever AGAIN! My daughter was bullied for half of her time there. She would come home everyday and cry she would lash out on me and her father just because of all the bullying. The school never did anything to help her feel better. A Teacher once ran out of a class just to chase two students then left my child alone in the class with serval students. Sports are okay but my daughter never got to play softball because no one would coach. Another incident that happened was when a student threatened to bring a gun to school and shoot my daughter and her friend my daughter was not involved but just because she was in the friend group she got a threat too. they suspended that student for about 3 days. The assistant principal is rude he always has a bad attitude My daughters social studies teacher was the best and most understandable Shout out to Ms. sovich. Also Mr. gross my other daughters old math teacher was great!
