"there are tons of random strays and dogs that have homes just running up and down the streets. there is a huge feral cat population and tons of fireworks going off every weekend no matter what."

"its a very safe city to live in there is a lot of local shops and grocery stores near by and local restaurants ever since me an my family move to Arizona from California we have lived in the city of avondale and we have never had any problems "

"No dog parks but a place to walk your dog. There are a stray dog or two from time to time but the dog catcher is usually very responsive to the calls for strays."

"I would say the special events that are held on western avenue here at historic avondale downtown. Christmas events, 5 de mayo events, even parades. Movie nights on 4th st and western avenue park as well. "

My experience at this school has been full of changes that are excellent and encouraging for the mind. I say my experience has been like that because I feel like since I've been here I have changed and I believe that I can achieve my goals that I have set for myself in life. The way I'll describe the atmosphere and community of my school is life changing. I say that because since I've been here I have opened up as a person and talked more to others. I used to be very shy and closed off, but I talk more and participate in clubs and activities. In the classroom it has been great because there are some teachers who you can get close to and talk with or ask them for something if needed. Not only are teachers the only ones you can talk to, but you can also talk to staff in the admin office. Most of the time they'll be quick to help you with whatever you need. I always say that being at this school is a home away from home because you can get close to so many people and change yourself for the better I know I have.
