NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average"Man from where can I start? straggle after straggle affter straggle. lack of strong leadership and professionalism makes it hard to work with the teachers to achieve the level of excellence that we expect from our kids. unfortunately I am taking my kid away from that school."This post is in reply to the above comment.I have 3 kids go to Huda Academy. 3rd, 1st and PK-4. School has its shares of issues and problems but then which place is perfect. It depends on the priority that we as parents have.School has excellent Islamic curriculum and strong environment that supports its islamic foundation. At the same time good curriculum for ELA, Maths, Science and Social Studies. As a parent I make sure I spend time with my kids to know exactly where they are in their respective classes. If i have an issue I approach their teachers, all the faculty including our principal are approachable, and valid issues gets addressed. I have nothing but praise for the faculty and principal who demonstrate excellent work ethic to compete with other schools in the area with such limited resources in comparison to better funded private and public schools.School participates in city and statewide science and spelling-bee competitions. Has great after school clubs such as chess, writing and drama. The teaching staff comes from all backgrounds and has a great diversity across faiths and races.I would recommend future parents to please contact the school administration and experience yourself, after all you are responsible for the future of your kids.Parent Review9y ago9 Reviews - Second Baptist Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy family's experience with St. Theresa Catholic School has been nothing short of exceptional, and mu husband and I are grateful for the nurturing environment it provides for our children. As a Catholic school, it effortlessly blends academic excellence with a strong foundation in moral and spiritual values. The teaching staff at St. Theresa is not only knowledgeable and dedicated, but also genuinely passionate about shaping young minds. Our children have flourished under the guidance of these caring educators who go above and beyond to ensure a positive and enriching learning experience. Their commitment to academic success is evident, and we appreciate the balanced approach they take, avoiding overwhelming homework loads while ensuring that students grasp essential concepts. One of the standout aspects of St. Theresa is the active involvement of families in the school community. The sense of belonging is palpable, and the school truly feels like an extended family. Regular events and opportunities for parents to engage with the school contribute to a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. The emphasis on community involvement not only enhances the overall educational experience but also fosters strong relationships between families.I commend the leadership of Principal Kristy Dunn, whose vision and dedication have helped shaped St. Theresa into the outstanding opportunity it is today. I especially appreciate the policy regarding no student cell phones at school. This decision aligns with the school's overarching philosophy of prioritizing education, community, and the cultivation of Catholic values rather than addiction to screens and social media. Our family feels blessed to be part of the St. Theresa community, where education goes beyond textbooks, and every child is valued for their unique qualities. We wholeheartedly recommend St. Theresa to any parent seeking a well-rounded, values-driven education for their children.Parent Review2y ago2 Reviews - Faith Christian School of Litt
