Second Creek

My experience with Dr. Johnson at Cottage Hill Christian Academy has been disappointing. Since he came in, things have changed and not in a positive way. He often comes across as condescending, and quite a lot of parents feel the same way. There’s a growing sense that he’s more concerned with control than connection, and it’s made the atmosphere at the school feel tense and divided.Cottage Hill used to have such a strong, welcoming community, but that sense of trust has really faded under his leadership. Many of us truly hope to see improvement or a change in how things are handled moving forward.

This is our second year at MJA.. my two daughters were in pre k and k last year and absolutely loved it. After coming from daycare where they complained about going every day they were excited and said they have fun all day and didn't even realizing they were learning at the time they both the finished the year knowing how to read and were upset when summer started! Now we are back and they love it just the same. The teachers are amazing the classes are small and very much a family type atmosphere the classes are blended grades which is interesting and the kids seem to like.. It's seventh day Adventist and they teach the Bible just as we learn at our non denominational church. The teachers are excellent with communication to parents and support parent involvement.. the younger kids do so much outside. I love that my kids come home sweaty and dirty like the good ole days... I really can't praise them enough for all that they do and how much they love all the children and work with different learning types and any special needs and are so in tuned to what each child needs.
