Fantastic neighborhood school with high academics and wonderful teachers! The perfect elementary school size and makeup.

Great! This is our 3rd year at Gwin. Teachers are amazing. So is Guidance Counselor as are all of the Specials teachers. The leadership at Gwin is very professional, approachable, and caring. Great curriculum.

Having kids at SMES for the past 6 years, this school has went from a shining jewel on the mountain, to an absolute miserable experience for both parents and students under Melissa Hadder’s failed leadership. If I had to endure one more year under this woman’s incompetence, I would honestly sell my house and move to a different school district. To those moving into the area, or unfortunate enough to have kids stuck at SMES, may God have mercy on you all.

This school is incredible at every level. They offer a safe, welcoming community with parents who are always willing to go the extra mile and children who get to witness how service creates a thriving learning environment. They are grounded in faith and virtue and it shows in everything they do. This is a very tight-knit community but they are always welcoming to new members. I’ve fallen in love with POP church and school for my kids and for me, too!

I am a parent of 3 children at this school. We have been here 3 school years ands we absolutely LOVE it!!! I have friends whose children are in other schools in the same grades and higher as mine and my kids are learning and being exposed to a much higher curriculum level. The teachers are very concerned about the education, behavior and morale of the students. No school is perfect but to us this one is close. I am excited about the new school location and I encourage any parent that is seeking an awesome learning and Christian environment to check this school out. They do have a no bullying policy which in this day and time is very necessary.

The worst school ever the principal is terrible would not recommend this school to anybody
