3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m a former teacher at this school and was honestly surprised to see the rating so low. I really loved my time there. The admin, teachers, and students are great, and I built strong relationships with parents. Like any school (or workplace), there will always be a few issues here and there, but after teaching at a couple of different schools now, I can genuinely say this one is a hidden gem. Many of the students come from difficult backgrounds, so lower ratings may reflect the socioeconomic challenges they face and the fact that school isn’t always their main focus. Teachers handle a lot of behavior sometimes., but expectations are clear, and there is a specific system in place for addressing behavior when it comes up. The curriculum and instruction are also very detailed. Teachers put a lot of thought into lessons and incorporate fun activities for students. Overall truly would recommend Calera Elementary.Teacher Review2mo ago9 Reviews - Haven Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love this school!!! You will not be dissapointed with the education that your children will receive at Haven. They use the Abeka cirriculum and the children love it. My children are thriving and love being in a faith based school. My husband and I would recommend this school anyday!Parent Review15y ago3 Reviews - Haven Christian Academy
