Me and my kids have moved and been threw alot rineyville elementary is by far the worst school ever no one does there job n everyone always says that they know nothing about what is going on they have lied on my kids tried coercing my son in my face allowed and ignored my son to be physically bullied watching and excusing it put there hands on my son interrogated my kids and talked bad about them they are lazy dont careand rude Mrs Johnson is the only genuine caring hard working adult there.

I was a student here, Kind/Mean teachers, good cleaning and the gym is a reasonable size. Covid rules taken responsible. I will say there are some horrible kids in this school. A lot of fights and backstabbers…I’d say to watch your child and who they hang around because theres some bad influences there. The lunch ladies may seem nice but they are rude. You only get 2 Choices and that’s horrible cold baked food or sandwich with peanut butter and jelly. Some friends found MOLD in their oranges and i found some mold in my food too. Great office staff but if a kid gets in trouble for threatening the school or getting caught with illegal drugs, they just send you to SSL. ( student support lab) where all you do is sit by yourself doing your work. you go to the bathroom twice in the morning and afternoon, you also get lunch a different time than normal. SSL is only for 2 days. Not much of a punishment from what i’ve seen. This is a not recommended school. It ruined my trust and i felt like i was in a chokehold there.

We have had three children attend John Hardin and it has become worse each year. We have moved our youngest to a school out of district. One male teacher has a coffee maker in the classroom and encouraged my daughter to stop by and talk anytime. One of the assistant principals reprimanded my son for standing up for a girl when two male students were harassing her, he was told to stay in his lane. We based our home purchase on the high school and were very disappointed. Most education is taught through a Chromebook, not by the teachers. There is also a lack of supervision in the classroom which allows more bullying and harassment, my son would not have had to step up if the teacher had been managing her classroom. I cannot recommend this school.
