8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school needs to be more strict on racism. There are teachers and student who say the n word and slurs to my daughter. She has came home crying into my arms once because people are animals. She has had a tough time with the amount of white people here and she can’t go a day without hearing them say a slur. The teachers hear but don’t act apon it. I have asked my daughter if she wanted to move, but the only other option is Griffin high, and that’s even worse. She does have good grades, and she’s been surprisingly succeeding in all of her classes, but the racist problem in this school needs to be fixed. I do not recommend for blacks.Parent Review4y ago6 Reviews - Pike County Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen your Child enrolls at Pike county Georgia School System they think they own your child. You as Parents are not allowed in School Buildings. The superintendent even told me that Parent involvement was fundraising not coming to the school that was considered spectators and it was not allowedParent Review2y ago5 Reviews - Pike County Primary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had 3 children graduate from Pike county schools. I now have 2 grandchildren attending. The schools have a great student to teacher ratio. Teachers are caring and truly treat their students as they are their own. While this is a review for the primary the high school also gets a shout out for the available dual enrollment, on campus classes (including AP), great STEM programs, and all around something for all students - State Baseball Champs too! Icing on the cake is the great rural community these schools are located in.Other Review4y ago7 Reviews - Pike County Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePike county has always been known for its bullying, but I’ve never seen a school care less than this one when it comes to it. Bullying is the LEAST priority in this place. They say they care and when you present them with the facts, all they do is move the kids seats around. They don’t address the bullies. It’s all about who you know.Parent Review9mo ago3 Reviews - Check out schools near Walnut Dr.
