Its just your typical middle school. There are a few things though. There are fights (as every middle school will have) and It lacks diversity. You will also notice that the only classes that are racially diverse are normal classes, when if you go to honors level classes they're like 70%+ white. (Normal classes are like 30% white) anyway, as an 8th grader who has spent all my years here, you dont have much to worry about if you go here.

I dropped off my daughter’s medicine at the office and they refused to give it to her. When I came up to the school to talk to the principal about it he had a police officer waiting in the office. The principal just started at me and told me he did not care. Those were the only words that came out of his mouth. He just stared at me until I left . I don’t know how he is the principal, he could care less about the children.

After experiencing many schools throughout our years, we have had our turn at Century HS and it has been a fantastic experience! The school is very dedicated to student safety and college/career readiness. College isn’t for everyone and I appreciate that it’s not the only avenue pushed onto the students. They have an awesome career and tech program. JROTC has been great for my student. Communication from the school is good, maybe even too much. But I’d rather more than not enough.
