"Kids play in neighborhood all the time. Always people walking their pets. Too far to walk to restaurants or grocery. "
    • Lacey Gray
"Schools are very spread out so watch the cut off lines one side of the street could go to one school while the other attends a totally different one"
    • Glenn cook
"It’s rural, with no sidewalks and the street is narrow. Noone walks their dog here. You can’t walk the street after dark because there’s no lights. It’s very quiet, and no crime, so it’s definitely worth the trade off."
    • Brianna Trombley
"Location right next to everything and easy access to groceries and town events. Nice walking area and lots of parks."
    • Charlotte S.
"Neighborhood 4th of July celebrations. Houses decorated for Christmas. Neighborhood cookouts. Halloween decorations and friendly Trick or Treating. "
    • Tom.hizer
"Good parks, schools. City and county government well run. Good medical facilities, and doctors, as well as other professionals. "
    • Therivermunchkin
"Sam Russell’s Per Provisions has an amazing doggie day care, boarding, grooming and retail facility. Freeman Lake is a popular and scenic park that many people take their dogs to. "
    • Rnjfast91
"Friendly small town feel with plenty of amenities, nice folks, decent shopping, close to two metro areas for more variety."
    • Robin Z.
"We just moved here about 15 days ago, but I don’t think there is public transportation here. People have to drive themselves places. "
    • Savannah C.
"Freeman lake has nice trails and two large nice dogs parks (a small dog and a large dog park option)"
    • Shawn7000
"I just love it her all our neighbor’s look out for each other. The animal’s and kids are absolutely safe. "
    • Shawn7000
"Always friendly people waiving and walking riding bikes golf carts etc a little country but super cozy. Have most popular restaurants and stores. "
    • Kristi M.
"There are no community events, over-priced and not a very neighborly community. We are looking to move out of Elizabethtown, not the place it was years ago. "
    • Megan E.
"I've lived here for almost 15 years. It's a nice, growing town. Not as big as Louisville but not as small as West Point. They have been fixing up a lot of areas and adding a lot of enjoyable things to do around the town. I am excited to see what's to come in the future. "
    • Wendy D.
"My neighborhood is friendly, clean, and safe. We are close to restaurants and shopping. It is easy to travel to larger cities in a reasonable amount of time."
    • Amydschwab
"It is a growing community and a great place to raise children if you have them. Depending on what kind of career you’re in, it can be limiting."
    • Jason S.
"They would like the open grass fields but hate the issue of no one cleaning up after their dogs. Sometimes dogs run loose and distract other animals. "
    • Misty E.
"It’s a nice place with nice people who look out for each other but don’t get into one another’s business."
    • Jasminehyman93

"It’s not always special, especially here recently. We’ve had a lot of shootings, and crazy stuff happening. But we have the heartland festival every year, and the fair. Those two things specifically are my favorite about this city. It’s not an amazing place to live anymore, but it’s still home. "
    • Kirsten J.
"It’s quiet and my daughter has made friends with the kids in the neighborhood. The neighbors are friendly and helpful."
    • Larry H. D.
"too much drug trafficking in this neighborhood do noisy with the traffic and there is no restaurants within walking distance not much happening on this side of town"

    • Stacie K.
