8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the worst school I've ever gone to! I would never recommend this school to any reasonable person. The teachers were a mixed bag, with some good teachers and some just awful teachers. I was a freshman when I went to this school last year (2023-2024), and the school was just a disaster that whole year. The principal was horrible at administrating and behavior, and let way too many fights slide, just because he was too focused on vaping. I have heard that he was fired after that school year, and if he was then great! The students (especially on the football team, not all but most of them) are rude and they bully random people who don't ever even choose to talk with them. They can steal your items and then lie about it so that they don't get in trouble. They also bullied the ASL (sign language) teacher out of the school last year, they would always mock deaf culture and would always disrespect him. The students would always talk way too much and it was impossible to learn anything! Also, the students would always whine about the homecoming float being removed from the school, and it was a lot to take. I didn't like anyone in any of the classes last year. That being said I had some friends but they weren't in those classes. One thing most people do not know about this school is that it's also an overwhelmingly conservative school (the second most conservative high school in the district), so it's a good school for your child if you lean that way politically. However, I wish that I had known about that because I didn't beforehand and if I did I wouldn't have gone. I am very happy that I know go to a much better school! I wrote this review to warn others about this school.Other Review1y ago15 Reviews - Andrew Carnegie Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTwo of my children went to Twin Lakes at different times. I believe Twin Lakes was one of the State's top elementary schools in the late 80's to early 90's. Now I have two grandchildren who are attending, and one soon to attend. Although I do not agree with some new learning curriculums and lack of others, I see the children's desire for being participants in their own education. I also see the pride they show during their their academic achievements. These are qualities in children who are college bound. What more can you ask for? Our children at Twin Lakes Elementary School, their parents, and family will look back and be thankful for the education received and memorable years the Twin Lakes Team provided. Performing arts and music should always be important in all schools.Never let the few rule the majority during educational decision-making processes.Other Review2y ago13 Reviews - Check out schools near Snipes Blvd.

"The neighborhood is filled with residents that have been here for many years. There is a nice mix of young families and older folks. You can walk or bike around safely, the the sidewalks and roads could use a little work. "

"Weekly Local Farmers Market and monthly classic car show in the lot by DQ. Country Fair and Parade at Orangevale Community And Equestrian Park. This is a safe environment where families walk their dogs and children on weekends and weekdays in the evenings. Many neighborhoods have an acre of land for each home and many have horses. There are several riding arenas and lessons available. Houses range from 350-1.4 million. "
