8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDr Phillips Elementary is a great school. My son has been there till 4th grade and then got into Magnet program at Bay Meadows Elementary also in Dr Phillips and we can both say that between these 2 schools, Dr Phillips elementary is much better!!!!! Better staff, teachers etc. My daughter is now in Dr Phillips and we love it.Parent Review2y ago12 Reviews - Dr. Phillips High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has serious problems with respect, professionalism, and abuse of authority. The library staff, especially some of the women who work there, are consistently rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. Instead of doing their job and supporting students, they treat us as if we are bothering them. Simple questions are met with irritation, bad attitudes, and disrespect. One staff member in particular abuses the small amount of power she has. She stopped me when I was simply picking up my backpack, as if I were about to commit a crime. She canceled my exam twice, not because I was using my phone, but because I had headphones in my pocket that I was not even using. My phone was inside my backpack. She waited for me outside the girls’ restroom, searched my belongings, and publicly accused me, humiliating me in front of others.Students are constantly treated with suspicion instead of respect. The environment feels hostile and stressful, not supportive. Because of this lack of control, respect, and professionalism, at least one teacher has already resigned, and I doubt he will be the last. This school urgently needs accountability and change.Student Review5mo ago28 Reviews - Southwest Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is in the 8th grade and had a great experience and prepared him for high school. Mr. Rosado has really enhanced the safety, engagement and academic rigor since his arrival. My son has really developed thanks to the teachers and staff.Parent Review6mo ago36 Reviews - Check out schools near Sandpoint Blvd.

"I grew up in this area. There’s low crime, plenty of shopping, restaurants and night life. Buildings and shopping plazas are very well maintained. Schools are great. A few minutes from universal studios and 10 minutes from Disney."

"The neighborhood is breathingly beautiful. The biggest challenge of this community is older houses which require a lot of expensive maintenance. However, some of the buildings are brand new, but pricey. "

"Neighborhood is nice. HOA is a pain in the butt. Parking for our visitors is impossible to find. No sidewalks in the neighborhood makes it really hard to go on walks with my kids and dog. Wouldn’t live here if i knew this a year ago."
