My daughter went to Ridgewood from 2nd-5th grades. It was a wonderful school with AMAZING teachers, however, the principal Mr. Buchman is the absolute worst. I am not sure how he got a job as a principal, he should not work with children at all. He bullies them. If he is there take your kids anywhere else.....

The teachers here are top notch. The school's format and high expectations of students are helping my daughter prepare for middle school. She is also having a great social experience. The school places only a couple of students from your child's 5th grade classroom in your child's classes. This provides my daughter with a sense of familiarity while meeting a lot of new kids. I have been very pleased with Hilliard schools. I am impressed with Hilliard City Schools from the superintendent, to the building principals, secretaries, school counselors , classroom teachers, the course offerings, instrumental music program, after school opportunities, sense of community and zero tolerance bullying policy. The parents are also VERY involved in the schools. I would recommend this school and the school district as a whole to anyone.
