7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI met with the assistant principal for a tour of the school and to have my questions answered. I could clearly see what some of the parents are saying here with regards to lack of sensitivity. She was very rude and disrespectful. I had to check her by saying "I thought I would be asking the questions". She made no effort to understand my priorities, and when I finally got a few words in edge wise, she did not have the answers for me. I asked if I could meet with a teacher another day that could answer the specifics of the classroom, and it was a stern no. If this is how day one is with a grown up, I surely won't throw my little ones into this!Other Review10y ago8 Reviews - Rye High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my experience with my children who attend the HS, the school system, administration, staff and security are among the best in the state. The School offers a wide range of AP courses, electives, clubs, sports and music programs. The teachers are all very knowledgeable, friendly, supportive, and are always there to answer question, and many have after school X periods to help with homework. The sports programs are competitive, but well run and inclusive. There is very little mean spiritedness or bullying. Most students are enthusiastic about their classes and are college ready for top schools when graduating. I would highly recommend this school. 10/10Parent Review2y ago9 Reviews - Rye Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI honestly didn't like this school at all. I have to deal with rude people who make stupid and ignorant jokes. New kids often feel the pressure of being the perfect "rye child". Which is not for everyone.Other Review11y ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near Parsonage Point.

"Grew up here with my grandma and I love it. It’s the quintessential suburbs with proximity to Manhattan, a quaint village, great schools, a beach, an amusement park and so much more. The ideal neighborhood to raise a family. "

"It’s a pretty dog friendly neighborhood. Town park with great dog community few blocks away. Few places in town have water bowls out front. I’m guessing every 3rd house has dog. "
