      "Overall it’s a safe neighborhood. Tipton Road is busy and there has been damage to yards due to drunk driving. Also, once our car was broken into and an item was stolen. We live off of Tipton road. "

      "Local streets are maintained and close to major highways and we are only 20 away from two major cities with anything you could ever need including shopping with major department stores and excellent night life. Locally there are ample places to get all the food necessities "

      "I’ve lived in the Lower Johnson Development in Tipton for 27 years. The neighbors are friendly and the development is a beautiful to raise children. "

Rural area is only 20 minutes from State College, 20 minutes from Altoona, 20 minutes from Philipsburg and 30 minutes from Huntingdon. Employment stability is good due to the closeness of all the above areas. Snappy's Convenience store and gas station, Subway and Family Chill and Grill Restaurant are in walking distance. Reese's Grocery store is 2 miles from the stop light in Bald Eagle, (RD 3, Tyrone, Pa.) Lived here for 30 years and love it."
