My child attends pre-k at Surry Elementary School. Her teacher is experienced, patient, and effective. She has 20 years of experience and my daughter has learned to read in about 6 months. The music and PE teachers are positive too. Out front every morning is the principle, welcoming students in. The staff takes each child by the hand in the morning carline and leads them in for their temperature check. They are friendly and welcoming. Every child receives breakfast and lunch daily for free. During the remote learning phase, they delivered meals to our home twice a week. We are pleased with our daughter's growth and learning in her time at Surry Elementary.

"They would like the open space for their fur babies to roam, however because it’s rural it may be dangerous as people don’t usually follow the speed limits in town and that could make for a bad situation. "

"I live in this rental and it is a beautiful, tranquil area...unfortunately the lot across the street was destroyed for sale of timber which dramatically changed the forest views. It is also very expensive to heat in winter....total cost of propane not including electricity bill over $3,500 in a 4 month period."
