As a parent, I'd strongly advise others to consider other options. There's been ongoing bullying issues towards the minority in numbers that haven’t been addressed PROPERLY by the administration. These kids feel scared attending this place because of fights and racial comments towards them. Another important issue and serious concern is that students aren't really thriving academically. What's going on that the staff and Principal aren't really doing enough? It feels like the school isn’t providing the support that students need, and there's definitely a concern to be addressed and correct. It's important to look for an environment where every child feels safe and supported and unfortunately Watkins-Nance Elementary is not it!

I am a student at w.a. perry middle school we may not have the most advanced technology as the other middle schools in the district , but I'll tell you what is advanced at our school... our thinking and with that we ARE advanced and our minds exceed the limit of intelligence and soar high like w.a. perry eagles should. C.A. Johnson High School deserves a better rating because many prominent people have graduated from this school. Students are focused and excelling in STEM. And, this school offers smaller classroom sizes and individualized assistance to students who need additional help.
