When completed in 1949, Cornell Arms was the tallest building between Richmond and Miami. The 18 story building is a steel frame structure with a handsome red brick veneer designed by the regionally renowned Southeastern architecture firm Lyles, Bissett, Carlisle & Wolff (LBC&W) and is listed on the National Register of Historic Properties.

    "I’ve never had any issues for five years staying here. All of the neighbors are friendly and everyone know each other. The most part I like about being in this neighborhood is having Lights during the storm while everyone else lights are out. I don’t have to worry about break-ins. I love how quiet it is the only thing I don’t like about it is when the loud cars are driving up and down the road."
