7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is disgusting. The teachers + staff do not have a care in the world for you, i see kids vaping in bathrooms, innocent people getting bullied left and right, and you can't go a milasecond without hearing a racial slur. its absolutely disgusting. The deans and principals play favriots as well. I once got in trouble for something that i'd didn't even do and it was actually this kid who was close with the principal that did the crime but of course the brian dead staff chose the kid they were close with. overall, i do not recommend this school at all. even the classes are messed up. it's the same thing as middle school except you walk to your next class alone. Also, did I mention that the gap between bells are two minutes long? My class is in the basement and my next class is on the second floor and they expect me to get up there in two seconds. The school is just absolutely ridiculous. Please do not go to the school.Other Review2y ago10 Reviews - Ps 107 Thomas A Dooley

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child attends this school and I am pretty pleased with her experience. The teacher makes sure that she learns her materials. It is in a safe neighborhood. The free morning test prep along with free breakfast provided is great.Parent Review8y ago17 Reviews - World Journalism Preparatory: A College Board School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers and administration need a serious review by DOE. They don’t care about children well being, education and their emotions. Very confusing messages promoted by the teacher, specially for kids who get accepted in better high schools. The teachers say things like “why to care about the grade, you are not going to go anywhere”. Vague messages about certain work not needed, then they penalize the kid for not doing it. Mixing students grades and claim this can’t be corrected in the DOE portal. Some teachers don’t believe in exams, and give their students high grades, while other teachers in other classes and same subject give extra work and tough tests and fail their kids. A teacher teaching her nephew and the kid gets an award in the subject end of year. Completely strange school and (no)system. The kids don’t respect the principal, making fun of her name and accent and make her cry. What an educational environment.Parent Review10mo ago17 Reviews - Check out schools near Flushing Flushing.

"We have the best live music venue in New York — Terraza 7, right here in Queens. We also have one of the finest Olympic swimming pools in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park. Kissena Park is the best place in Queens to appreciate nature, with the presence of foxes and migratory birds. We are the hope and character of New York City"

"They’d like to see other neighbors walking their pets. Neighbors don’t usually talk to each other and there’s very few patches of grass for dogs to walk on. I’m in Barclay and parson and that’s how it is here. There are other parts of Flushing which are real nice and better maintained. All in all I feel safe in flushing, more so than most other parts of New York. So you will enjoy walking your pet peacefully. Also there are barely any rats. In 3 years I’ve only come across four at most here in flushing and I walk everyday. Do you don’t have to worry about your pet getting a disease that way. Beware though of the endless spits everywhere. It’s gross "
