4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCharles Mack is the WORST SCHOOL EVER! If I only had a choice I would not send my kids at this school because ALL DAY EVERYDAY STAFF FROM HIGHER TO LOWER POSITIONS KEEPS ON YELLING AT KIDS! I witnessed it myself and had to say something but yard duty lady acts like she didn’t hear me! Yelling at them will not help! You will just made them scared and panicking and can’t think/speak properly because they’re traumatized of how these staff handle and treat these young innocent kids! Wake up Charles mack and DO BETTER! One day this school will be closed because of how you treat kids inside your campus! A lot of parents don’t speak up because what? Can’t speak English? They’re scared? Fight for your kids right! These staff don’t have the right to abuse and treat our kids like this! A lot of kids are now traumatized because of staffs here!Parent Review1mo ago7 Reviews - Valley High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience at this school has been very disappointing. Many teachers are unmotivated and seem uninterested in actually teaching. The cafeteria food is low quality, with few healthy options and questionable hygiene. School safety is a major issue — fights and conflicts among students happen too often, and staff response is inconsistent. The student culture is mostly negative, with little academic motivation. There are tons of rules, but they’re either unreasonable or not fairly enforced. Overall, I would rate this school well below average. Serious changes are needed.Student Review1y ago16 Reviews - Samuel Jackman Middle School

"Cool , bus times are iffy but you can get where you want to go for a good price, some places you will need to walk a little bit more to get there and get back. Some times it’s to late to catch a bus or train and you need to walk home. "

"Not much to say, keep to yourself. You’ll be fine. Neighbors aren’t exactly friendly, but they aren’t rude either. Dogs always on the loose so be careful walking your dogs. "

"I have lived in this area for 16 years and even though it’s not the best I have always liked it. The area is getting better though. Also school teachers in the area try their best and go the extra mile for the kids. "

"If I could afford to live somewhere else I would. There are some good people here but far too many seem not to care about the neighborhood. The the streets are full of trash and abandoned cars. People speeding down the streets while kids are playing. This neighborhood seems to have been forgotten by the city. "
