5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey cater to a specific demographic for sure. It should be inclusive for ALL students, but sadly it is not!The only positive I can share is the hard working Vice Principal…. she actually tried to keep the kids in line. Lots of people in the area try to school choice out of there and for very good reasons! They recommended my daughter really didn’t need her IEP anymore but said they would still “support” her…. they didn’t and things got pretty bad…. disappointing!!Parent Review1y ago11 Reviews - Mission Viejo High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHigh School absolute does not care about staff or contractors. You will be removed from the school after being hit and cursed out by one of the students. When you take it to the office and let them know they act like you're the problem. The school still has not stood up to do anything about the damage of my vehicle that the student has caused. But they're very very good at letting you go so they don't have to take responsibility for the negligence of their students and then you will be treated like it was your fault that the student hits you and cursed you out. As a parent I would never allow this. As a staff you guys are horrible you don't support you don't stand by nothing my child has an opportunity to go to this high school I will put him somewhere else due to the fact of the negligence of the staffing and how you guys do not support you're not kind or friendlyOther Review11mo ago12 Reviews - Olivewood Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school fails in regards to diversity, for the school has a student body that is mostly Hispanic. I am not sure what happened to the other demographics, but they have seemed to move onto to other choices in education. Nevertheless, my nephew went to kindergarten here. The teacher was fine at educating, and he progressed well in his studies, but he was one of only a couple non-Hispanic kids, and the parents were downright hostile because he is white. He invited all of the kids to his birthday party (despite never being invited to any of theirs), and was told outright from the other kids that their moms wouldn't let them go to the party. So, here we have a heartbroken 5 year old who has been told that the other kids aren't allowed to be his friend. It's a horrible situation and the school is aware of it, but won't do anything for fear of offending the Hispanic families. As I mentioned, the teacher (Mrs. Gray) was great and did her best despite the student body and administrative support. The only saving grace is that my nephew and his family will be moved into their new home and he will be attending a new school that has a higher score and a more diverse student body. Therefore, from what I witnessed and was told by my nephew, brother and sister-in-law, if your child is not Hispanic, prepare them to be the outcast socially. Hence, I can't recommend this school at this time!Other Review8y ago8 Reviews - Check out schools near El Toro Rd #220.

"Terrible drivers, oh my goodness. Accidents happen EVERY DAY in the double digits in Lake Forest. El Toro has terrible traffic as well as Bake, Trabuco, Jeronimo, etc… it is really crammed now. What was good in 2013 is now Mini-LA in 2025. I should have left 5 years ago"

"As a resident for over 5 years, I think Lake Forest is highly underrated. There are few places in OC where you can find affordable single-family houses with big lot. Besides, it has good schools, low crime, friendly neighborhoods and a lot of trees! I can't believe people haven't found out they could get better houses for the money here than nearby expensive cities."

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 4 years now. There are shops and restaurants and lots of other amenities within a 10 block radius. Neighbors are friendly enough without being nosey. The worst thing about the lakeside community is the geese during mating season, so if that’s the only thing that can be found to complain about then you know it’s a peaceful place to live."
