  • "There is no better place to live in Orange County if you have kids. Every other community falls short! 3 main ways to access the 5 freeway. Soon there will be a 4th. Schools are awesome! The Parks and pools are out of this world! If you get bored in this community then you probably get bored at Disneyland. The entrie comunity is Clean Clean Clean! Typically the biggest problem is that kids were being loud at a pocket park after dark. I guess when there isn't anything real to complain about the trivial seems major. Typically, we leave Ladera to eat out. Honestly, I don't even know if there is public transportaion in Ladera. We have a Dog Park and Skateboard park, two Water Parks, Tons of Pools(makes no sense to have your own unless you are a hermit) and more parks than you can count. The Fireworks on the 4th of July are the best around!!!!! The show lasts 25 minutes! Feels like it is a grand finally from start to finsih, really! The community redevelopment fee is the best thing in the world. the 1/4 of a percent that you have to pay when you buy your house stings a little. However, after you see all the improvements and upgrades they make with that money you will be pleased. Ever since they got rid or the original security company in Ladera, everyone now says What Security? Don't plan on that being a huge selling point, I am luck to see them once a month. Fortunately, you don't really need them, right now. In my opinion, there is no better place to live for families!"
