10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGross disparity in disciplinary action taken against students for the same exact behavior. Be careful of this administration. Don't expect transparency. Consider yourself lucky if they are honest with you. Do your own due diligence. They certainly won't do it. They make decisions that are unethical, inconsistent and contradict their own code of conduct.Teacher Review1y ago14 Reviews - Blanche Sprentz Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTHIS SCHOOL IS HORRIBLE! I was previously going through a custody battle with my children’s father after he basically parental KIDNAPPED our two children . I HAD NO KNOWN LOCATIONS FOR MY CHILDREN , THEY’RE FATHER WAS A FLIGHT RISK. I had found out my children were going to this school , I PROVIDED ALL INFORMATION SHOWING I AM THEIR MOTHER AND THEY’VE BEEN IN MY CARE (the father had his girlfriend on all the records for the school claiming she was the children’s mother) this school asked for no type of proof , RECORDS, ANYTHING! I informed them they can call law enforcement (I had all proper documentation) just for the school to call their dad to immediately pick them up . This made it so much MORE DIFFICULT TO LOCATE MY CHILDREN AND CONFIRM THEIR SAFETY! This school IS HORRIBLE AND SAFETY IS NOT A PRIORITY AT ALL! The school must realize they were VERY WRONG because I pulled my children out of the school after involving Folsom Police in an effort to locate my children AFTER ALL THIS MESS ! They’re fortunate I don’t get a attorney and sue the school district for negligence. AFTER LOCATING MY CHILDREN AND EXPLAINING TO THE SCHOOL I HAVE EMERGENCY CUSTODY AND MY CHILDREN WILL NOT BE RETURNING THE WOMAN IN THE OFFICE HAD THE AUDACITY TO ARGUE WITH ME. THIS SCHOOL IS A MOCKERY!Parent Review4mo ago9 Reviews - Folsom Lake High School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat school and staff if your student is having problems with traditional school. No drama approach that allows students to focus and even excel in their studies. Small classes and they are there to help.Other Review10y ago2 Reviews - Sutter Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am at a lost for words at how terrible this school is. It has only gotten worse with the relatively new Principal (Princiapl Mcfall). He only cares about his image so he will lots of bullying go unchecked and foster a bad environment at school so to not upset the parents of said bullies. They need to change leadership asap at this place. Its ridiculous. There is also cliques inside the school, where teachers and staff will target parents of victims of bullies and belittle them. Basically there is no support for victims of bullies bc admin themselves sympathize with bullies. I have been to many school as a grandparent, and let me tell you this is truly the worst. It’s not gonna be long before they get hit with a lawsuit for endangering kids. A lot of the staff here seem to think that time will wash their negligence but it won’t because the statute of limitations goes for 5 years, so any bullying or endangerment still has to be throughly investigated. Lastly, the racism in this school is very passive aggressive. They especially do not like Chinese or Muslim students and families.Parent Review5mo ago22 Reviews - Check out schools near Ecklon Ct.

"I commute to shingle springs which is a quick 15 minutes. I dint have to get in a freeway but that is an option if needed. Neighborhood is clean, mostly quiet excel for occasional party. Most people pick up after their dogs there are the few exceptions. Kids are safe in the neighborhood & great schools. "

"I have lived in this house for 23 years. It has been an amazing place to live. There has been much joy and there has been much healing through heartache. You cannot buy a lot in Folsom now this large. Whoever lives here will be blessed."

"The commute to town town is pretty easy. There are some areas that bottle neck up but then opens up. People drive in the fast lane as if it is the slow lane. Big box cars and trailer drive in the fast lane. Basically no know how to drive on the freeway. People use the passing Fast lane as their slow lane. "

"Busy!! The freeway has a lot of traffic coming from up the hill, El Dorado Hills, Cameron Park and Placerville. There will be about 30,000 new homes built in Folsom. There is no way the freeway can handle that much traffic. It will be insane. "

"Most people in our neighborhood moved here originally for affordable housing and better schools. They stayed because they have created lasting friendships and become integrated into a society that sincerely cares for their neighbor. "

"I live and work in Folsom. I own an insurance agency here in town and I see very little claims come through my office. Parking is good except in old Folsom however if you like public transportation good luck with that one. "

"We have lived in the Briggs Ranch neighborhood of Folsom for almost 8 years. The rolling hills, the majestic old oaks, the beautiful flowers, the well maintained homes and the lake just a 5 min. walk away has made this the perfect neighorhood for us. Add in top notch schools, a first class brand new performing arts center, 30 miles of bike paths, lovely parks, friendly people and proximity to Lake Tahoe and we hope to be here for a very long time. "When we moved to Folsom 11 years ago, my wife and I drove all of the different neighborhoods just like everybody else. Briggs Ranch had a special feel about it. With rolling hills, heritage oaks and a wonderful blend of custom & Winncrest homes, we knew that we had found the perfect place to settle down. Whether you enjoy easy access to Folsom Lake, or if you like to spend time riding bicycles on the miles & miles of surrounding trails, Briggs Ranch is the place to be. The outstanding Folsom Hills Elementary School is just an added bonus. And don't forget, there is NO Mello-Roos or HOA to bog down your budget. "
