I went to school here from kindergarten through graduating in 1987. I loved it then and still love it to this day. It is a very close-knit school including staff and students. We are a small school, and I love that also. We have many successful students here that graduate and are successful adults and I think that comes from our teachers here at Dawson Springs starting with the Elementary School and ending with the High School. We all care about each student here and will go above and beyond to make sure we do what we can to help them be successful. We are also a very family-orientated school because we care about their well-being. We have a great relationship with each other, our students, parents, and community and that is what it takes to make our school successful and the best. They say it "takes a village to raise a child" and I do believe we altogether make an impact and do our best to do our part. I am happy to say I graduated from here, my husband, both of our daughters, son-in- laws, and hopefully our grandchildren will do the same and get to experience some of the best times of their lives right here at Dawson Springs Independent School.
