"there really are none that I can think of off the top of my head it's a pretty normal neighborhood, besides some of the homeless people around here, they should have never installed the benches with dividers it's rude"
    • Trulia User
"just move here at the beginning of the year but have lived in this area growing up. I have awesome neighbors and our street stays relatively quiet"
    • Trulia User
"I've lived here for o er 20 years and have never had a problem out of anyone. I've raised 5 kids here and I have 7 grand kids that also are growing up here and we are proud to be from this area. "
    • Kboerum16
"We have a neighborhood Facebook group. So far there haven't been any big events outside of school related activities around the area. "
    • Roshynelle L.
"I see people walking their dogs in a peaceful and joyful manner everyone is friendly itโ€™s very clean and well kept "
    • Saria.daniels
"My neighborhood is clean and friendly. Not all areas are good but we havenโ€™t had problems in this general area. "
    • Kaylynmonster17
"it's a good neighborhood but the prices for most of these houses are no where near what they are worth."
    • Shelby .
"I drive myself because I donโ€™t trust anyone in this area nor the public transportation. Dixie Hwy is horrible, people donโ€™t know how to drive it respect the roads and for some reason the city feels the need to constantly do construction and cause back ups and delays instead of leaving it alone. "
    • Dalyuky18
"This neighborhood has several grocery stores, restaurants, and parks. Itโ€™s fairly quiet and clean. There are also nice homes and apartments in this area. "
    • Dch5353
"Lots of dog people. You regularly see dogs out for a spin. Response owners that that pick up after their pets. "
    • Kayla_buckman
"My commute to grocery stores and shopping is about 5 minutes away and we are about 20 minutes from downtown"
    • Hunterleayne
"Dog friendly. Would suggest having a fully fenced in yard. If dogs get out our community has a page where we can upload pictures and posts of lost animals we see. "
    • Chartman
"Peaceful place to live. Neighbors are all really nice. Many older individuals, however that is changing. "
    • WesleyMarshall
"with the current dixie construction it is packed daily. dixie seems like it is going to start growing more rapidly. "
    • William H.
"It used to be a great area but drugs are starting to plague the good folks who live here. The area needs strict cops to get rid of the crime in the area thatโ€™s starting to grow."
    • Reneebadadall
"There is a mix of good neighbors and drugs in this area. Low income housing is blocks away. There are several foreclosures. "
    • Wes C.
"close to everything, quite neighborhood and well taken care of yards. Taxes are outrageous and the MSD water bill is a RIP off"
    • William H.
"Itโ€™s a good neighborhood thatโ€™s rapidly decaying due to poverty and drug addicts. It can be turned around with the proper authority."
    • Billy R. L. J.
"I don't have much to say about it because I have not lived here vey long. The neighbors are friendly. There are plenty of things to do."
    • Nanagina20042
"I've live h here for 9 years and it is a very safe and friendly neighbor hood and all of the people in this neighborhood do get along very well they're so fairly and meet you and greet you with a smile everyday."
    • Shalmar G.
"Great area, close to everything, always something to do."
    • michael t.
"Area has a lot of young families and older people that have been living in the same houses since they were built. Prairie Village has a strong community presence in their youth sports, great Churches nearby, and well run locally owned small businesses. Close enough to Dixie Hwy for shopping and restaurants yet far enough away to avoid it. 2 elementary schools 1 middle school and a Community College all within 1 mile of each other Fire station and Hospital very convenient and Gene Snyder access very close by "
