7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI sometimes don't like the school because that's just me, but it's sooo fun and the teachers are great. These other reviews are from seven years ago so here's an updated one. There are obviously gonna be bad people sometimes and people get make fun of sometimes but that's just school and there's PLENTY of great, kind, smart people who are taught by great teachers with fun personalities or strict personalities but still teach well. Food is okay but bringing lunch from home is clearly always an option (unless you're unable to). There are adjustment counselors EVERYWHERE so there's always someone to talk to. Anyways I'm going to the highschool next year's and I'll honestly miss this place even though 7th grade kinda sucked for me.Student Review1y ago5 Reviews - Collicot Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are helpful but the principal is rude to parents and was dismissive of the needs of my child. Leadership needs to be better at communicating with parents and more equitable for each individual students situation.Parent Review5y ago4 Reviews - Glover Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are extremely happy with the education and experience our children had/having at the Glover Elementary School. Both our kids started their elementary educations there from Kindergarten. My son (13) who graduated exited extremely well prepared for Middle School. My daughter (11) who is finishing her last year as a 5th Grader has blossomed and is equally well prepared for the academic challenges ahead. The French immersion program is outstanding and not only exposed them to the importance of culture and different languages/ But it shaped their thinking in a profound and positive way. The teaching staff is engaged, accessible and cares about their students. And the leadership of Principal, Mrs. McDavitt is unparalleled. Her energy, passion and dedication is like none I have ever witnessed. I couldn't think of a better place to start your child's academic journey.Parent Review1y ago4 Reviews - Milton High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you have a child on the autism spectrum disorder you should avoid this school. The school leadership is not equipped and committed to supporting children on the spectrum. The main emphasis seems to be on discipline and punishment vs. teaching individuals on the spectrum how to become socially more aware and more effective. MHS also resorts to isolating individuals on the spectrum vs. creating an inclusive environment where everyone has a chance to succeed. You are better off looking for a private (or different) school. In our case, MHS left our son traumatized. Since we switched schools, he is excelling both socially and educationally.Parent Review1y ago2 Reviews - Tucker Elementary School

"Not the best, I live in a low-income area because of the number of people & transportation options, it's not an ideal convenient experience."

"I’m not sure about the community events held in Milton, however the local grocery store: Fruitcenter Marketplace is fantastic and has the best produce I’ve ever had. Also there are fantastic restaurants. I also really enjoy the plant nurseries in the area. Milton is a great place if you are looking for a pretty diverse community right outside of the city. The school district here is pretty decent, however they do need to update their policies and cultural responsive teaching approach. The schools should also consider hiring more black/ teachers of color. In addition to that they should hold more direct conversations about race, and the way systemic racism manifests and several realms. Tip toeing around racism begets more racism. To that point, there needs to be more conversations about class, sexuality, religion, race and the intersectionality of those things. Other than that Milton is a cute town. I love living here and wish to raise my children here- especially if they can exists being who they truly are."

"Elementary schools have a great French immersion program here. Excellent public schools overall. Your child can easily grow up speaking a 2nd or 3rd language. I did thanks to these schools."

"It is convenient to downtown Boston, the regional train system (Amtrak), inter and Intra-state highways, shopping, open space, large housing lots and recreational open space (7,000 acre Blue Hills Reservation). It hosts one of the finest independent schools in the country and is extremely safe."
