Tucker Elementary School

Terrible. The most stressful educational year thus far. There was no support with the teacher, none with the principle and no from the parent liaison. I wasn't even clear on who this person was initially.

If your child did not attend this school, please don’t make assumptions. My daughter learned to read within a month of joining Mr Ross class. She had an amazing 1st grade teacher and a wonderful pandemic 2nd grade teacher. The school supported us during the pandemic and the principal, Mr Rockoff brought a labtop to my home for my daughter to ensure she is connected we. She really thrived at EP and I have no regrets whatsoever. Her day starts early at 7:20 am and ends about 4:30. She is doing excellent in her new school and EP helped her. I would highly recommend EP and my son is on the waitlist

The new principal lacks experience. She is extremely reactive to everything that goes on and over promises but doesn't deliver on any pro-active solutions.

We are very pleased with our child's school experience. The reading program is excellent and really supports their learning progress. We also appreciate how the school encourages strong parent involvement, making us feel like an important part of their education. The school events hosted throughout the year are a wonderful way to bring families together and create a warm, connected school environment. Overall, it's a nurturing and engaging place for our child to grow academically and socially.

Mildred Ave is amazing! The teachers care! The support staff never miss a beat! I've sent my children to other BPS, this one is the best by far!
