10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAfter having my kids going to Stuyvascent, I would not recommend this school, especially if you as parent want the best growth academic growth opportunity for your kids. The school has very limited AP classes seats and also limit AP exam students can take if they decided to take AP classes elsewhere. My kid has taken AP classes at a well-known online education agency for a year, where most of their students took AP and get a 5 even as freshman year, but Stuyvascent AP coordinator does not allow my kid to take the exam on the exam date, despite he has registered for the AP test back in Fall. They cancelled his registration the last minute on the exam date! Reason was he has not taken the AP class for that exam at Stuyvascent. What Stuyvascent is doing is totally against the policy of College Board, as students are totally allowed to self-study and sit in AP exams. However Stuyvascent not only limit access for students to take AP classes but also prevent them from sitting in the AP exam for self learning.Parent Review2mo ago30 Reviews - Ps 89

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI DONT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL, THE ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL HAVES FAVORITISM TOWARDS KIDS THAT DONT HAVE IEP, THE STAFF CALLS ALL THE TIME FOR THINGS THAT NOT AN EMERGENCY, INSTEAD OF IMPORTANT THINGS THAT ALWAYS LAST MINUTE. THE TEACHERS RESPOND LATE, THE TEACHERS DONT HELP THE STUDENTS THEY PREFER ANOTHER STUDENT TO HELP INSTEAD, WHEN KIDS BULLY OTHER KIDS THEY DONT HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE, THE AMOUNT OF FAVORITISM IN THIS SCHOOL IS HUGE AND THE STAFF ARE ALL UNPROFESSIONAL. IF YOUR CHILD HAVES An IEP DONT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE, HE/SHE WON'T GET THE RIGHT EDUCATION.Parent Review2mo ago36 Reviews - Middle 297
