"The schools are very good and lots of families in every neighborhood with children of all ages. Most neighborhoods are pretty safe for children to play outside and small parks to use. "
    • Sarahdamron
"Limited public transit available. Car required, even to just get to the bus stop in most areas. Lots of traffic if you commute to downtown Cincinnati."
    • Psholtz2000
"Lots of dogs in the neighborhood and people walking their animals. We plan on eventually getting a dog ourselves. "
    • Sammy M.
"Lots of families live here. Good schools. Quiet streets. Our neighborhood has two pools, two ponds, two tennis courts, half a basketball court and a playground"
    • Sammy M.
"Commute wise you have to have a car. If desperate you could walk to Kroger and some other business nearby but the road is currently under construction 7/2020 so there is no side walk available for a large portion to Kroger. It’s about 25 minutes to downtown Cincinnati by car. You basically have to have a car to get around. You do have to contend with I71/75 traffic if you have to get to work (unless you work in Florence which is the neighboring town, not many jobs in Union outside of retail and restaurant) which is notorious for a lot of traffic and major delays. But if you need to you can hop on to I-275 and take that to I471 and you will make it to the city. Or you can get off several exits after I-275 to take back roads through Covington to get to downtown Cincinnati. Now if for some reason you have to drive south of Union you will have very little traffic pending an accident or bad weather as most people commute north. "

"Lots of kids. good schools. Low crime rate. Lots of activities to join. Library close by. Lots of restaurants and shops short drive. "
    • Sammy M.
"There are lots of families. Good public schools Ryle, Grey, Mann. Very safe community. Houses are well taken care of"
    • Smbreitling
"I drive my kids to catholic school 20 minutes north on I 75/71. The majority of their activities are north of the I 275 loop, off I75. There are A LOT of semi trucks on the interstate. It takes 12 minutes to drive to the closest grocery store. I have lived in Union 15 yrs & the population is growing & so is the traffic. The roads aren’t ready for all the traffic. So, overall I really dislike the commute to anywhere I need to go, including restaurants & shopping. I’m ready to move 15 miles north. "
    • Zevelyc1
"It can be a rough ride to Downtown in peak hours. They are redoing Richwood road so that will help. With no traffic the ride into Cincinnati is easy. With traffic though there are lots of ways around."
    • Xrzv.00
"Very easy access to main highway, unfortunately mostly congested but it appears improvements are being made."
    • Angela P.
"The commute is quite simple. Just minutes away from local major grocery stores, drugstores, and the major interstates. "
    • Mdvguest
"Great schools and family oriented. A short commute to Cincinnati but a secluded and surrounded by farmland. "
    • hahaha
"there are parades occasionally and there is a lot of development in the area. it will be booming within the next decade"
    • Jacklynemink
"Please be careful around the road people tend to speed. Family neighborhood with nice parks and pools"
    • Markls42
"I lived in this neighborhood for 9 years and we love this area. Great people and a great neighborhood to live in."
    • Anthony S.
"there was a stabbing the other day with air care........................it wasn't a good sight really made us think. there's a lot of dirty in rich neighborhoods "
    • Ehodzic429
"Walking their dogs outside in the manly parks that we have here. People clean up after their dogs. They have a dog park. "
    • Elysialee883

    • Kayla A.
"Great neighborhood, very safe, great community, young ones can grow up well with all the schools nearby."

    • Mfrancis1127
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for almost a year and I have gotten to know quite a few of the neighbors. I love the setting and very happy to be here."
    • remy e.
"Union is a lovely little town with the charm of a small community but the convenience of the mall down the road and the city 20 minutes away. Boone County was voted the healthiest county in the state and the Ryle High School District is fantastic."
    • Awinitaky
"Union is a small town but close to big cities. It is central to everything needed and freeway accessible. It is growing very fast out here so traffic is a little congested at peak travel times (week days to and from work) but not enough to discourage moving here. We have beautiful well kept subdivisions in and around Union with great neighbors. Perfect for families who care about their homes."
