I am so glad our daughters went to Coral Reef Elementary! From kindergarten through fifth grade they had wonderful teachers who took the time to teach and made school fun and enriching! Get involved in PTA and make a difference for your kids and all of the students! CRE offers many wonderful programs and fabulous events -accelerated reading, fun fair, fall festival, talent show and so much more! You will find this to be a true community school and one where you can stop in and talk with administration. You can’t go wrong making Coral Reef your school!

Horrid, covert bullying and holier than thou complex.

Honestly, the school isn't awful, but they enforce punishments very unequally. For example, the dress code. We have no uniform, but we have a dress code. The assistant principals only enforce the dress code on girls, and even then results vary. My friend and I wore the exact same thing one day: a thick-strapped tank top with long pants. Tank tops are technically not in the dress code, but that is rarely enforced. My friend and I walked into the school and without warning one of the assistant principals started yelling at me and issued me a detention. I was standing next to somebody wearing the exact same thing as me, and he did not care. Four girls wearing significantly less walked by in the amount of time it took for the detention to be issued. I was in my last year of high school and it was the first detention I had been issued EVER.The teachers at this school are incredible, especially the AP ones, they teach concepts that are difficult in an intuitive way that makes them easy to understand. Unfortunately, the environment of the school is ruined by a handful of assistant principals who have nothing better to do than unequally enforce a dress code which is probably older than them. Instant detention for a shoulder peeking out is extreme.
